Martin J Miller

Over 45 years ago, Martin Miller had a vision: to

create a top-notch accountancy firm right here in

Manchester. And thus, Millers Accountants was

born! He’s the man who laid the foundation, and

he's still a driving force, bringing decades of

wisdom and experience to the table.​

​

Martin's a Fellow of the IFA and IPA, a testament

to his deep knowledge and unwavering

commitment to the accountancy world. He's got

a mind like a steel trap, and you'd be hard-pressed

to find a topic he can't hold a well-informed conversation about. He's seen it all, done it all, and remembers it all (mostly).

When he’s not keeping the books balanced, you’ll find Martin on the tennis court, serving up aces, or on the walking football pitch, proving that age is just a number (especially when you’re winning). He's also a staunch right-winger, and he's not shy about sharing his (always well-articulated) political views.

​​

Educated to a high standard, he brings a level of intellectual curiosity to everything he does. Whether he's discussing the latest tax regulations or the finer points of a backhand volley, Martin's always engaged and engaging. He's the kind of guy who can switch from explaining complex financial strategies to debating the merits of a classic political philosophy without missing a beat.

Martin's the heart and soul of Millers Accountants, and his passion for both his work and his community shines through in everything he does. He’s the living embodiment of the firm’s commitment to excellence and client service, and he's still leading the charge, 45+ years on.

Uri Steinberg

Uri bounced into Millers Accountants in 2007, fresh-

faced and determined to shake up the accountant

stereotype. He was on a mission to prove that

numbers could be fun (or at least, bearable). Against

all odds (and maybe a few late-night study sessions),

he bagged his AAT fellowship in 2010, then waded

through the ACCA jungle and finally emerged victorious

as a member of the IFA and IPA in 2016.

He's a whiz at tax and accountancy, explaining complex

stuff in a way that actually makes sense, and always

leaves clients with a clear plan of action (and maybe a chuckle or two).

​​

Since 2016, as an Associate Partner, Uri's been the office's resident superhero, making sure

everyone's happy and the cogs are turning smoothly. He keeps the workflow humming, the

deadlines met, and the accounts and tax returns squeaky clean. Basically, he's the office's

stress sponge, soaking up pressure so everyone else can breathe easy.

When he's not wrestling with spreadsheets, Uri's a passionate vegan and animal welfare advocate (his wife Jemma's influence, he'll admit). He's always up for a good debate on politics, TV, or cinema, and probably has a well-informed opinion on your favourite obscure documentary.

​

He's also a sports fanatic, and you'll often find him on the football pitch or 5-a-side court, throwing himself into tackles with reckless abandon (much to Jemma's despair). He's a trustee of a local charity and somehow finds time to keep a communal initiative running smoothly. Basically, he's a busy bee, but always with a smile!
